The Truth About New Years Resolutions – Guest Post by Grant Cardone

I have something I need to talk to you about…

It may be a “downer,” and I wish it weren’t true.  But the truth is…

Just because it’s a new year, it doesn’t mean it’s going to be better for you.

I know, I know…

Everybody’s all pumped up with the “new year, new me” rah-rah motivation.

All hyped up that this will be the best year ever.

But I’m here to tell you there’s nothing “magical” about the calendar switching over to January.

And I should know because I lived it.

Waking up on January 1st to see my mom still struggling to pay the bills…

Starting off the new year still hanging with the same Louisiana hicks and getting high…

Watching the ball drop only to wake up with no money to pay my $275 rent.

And I’m not saying this to be a “Debbie downer.”

I’m saying it to deliver one important message…

One clear prediction that doesn’t require the talents of Nostradamus.

Nothing stays the same, and if you’re not actively striving to get better…

Then you’re getting worse.

Period.  Full stop.

And I’m here to tell you that the growing recession is going to paint this picture in vivid detail for all the world to see.

But here’s the good news…

There’s something you can do about it.

You can wake up every day with the same “New Year’s fire” you had on January 1st…

Attack your targets by all means necessary…

Become the author of your success story.
