The Reason My Wealth Keeps Growing – Guest Post by Grant Cardone
The reason why my wealth keeps growing is because I always play offense.
I wake up every morning with a goal. I say, “Hey, what is my financial target today?”
I spend the rest of my day asking “who’s got my money?”.
And once I’ve figured that out… I go after it by providing insane amounts of value to whoever’s got my money.
Nowadays, I run multiple businesses that make hundreds of millions per year.
I didn’t create these businesses by playing defense. I grew them by attending conferences…
Recording YouTube videos…
And knocking on door after door after door.
In other words – I played offense day in and day out. Was I always like this? No, I wasn’t
My mom brought me up playing defense.
I saved my pennies.
I constantly asked others to cut me a deal.
And I measured my ROI in forensic detail.
Until I realized something…
You cannot save your way to wealth and prosperity. You have to play financial offense.
That might feel unnatural.
Especially when your parents, teachers, and friends constantly urge you to “save for a rainy day.”
But with a recession looming…
You must learn how to expand your wealth while others contract. And research proves it.
When a team at McKinsey looked at recession-defying businesses… they found something fascinating.
When the Great Recession hit, the top 10% of businesses saw their profits soar while most others stagnated.
The difference-maker?
Stagnant businesses switched into survival mode. They made deep cuts and reacted defensively.
To make matters worse – years after the recession – defensive businesses struggled to close the gap.
Which goes to show…
The actions you choose today will dictate your financial future. It’s why you must flip your game to attack mode – starting immediately.
